Suzanne Noël, a real historical figure with a romantic life and her own political vision as a philosophy of the world. She is the “Calamity Jane” of Paris’s beautiful neighborhoods.
Copenhagen, 1952. Pioneer of plastic surgery Suzanne Noël meets a determined student, Natalia, who awakens memories of her turbulent life. From her bold pursuit of medical studies in Paris, through a love triangle, motherhood, and inspiration drawn from reconstructive surgery during World War I, to groundbreaking procedures and a fight for women’s rights. Marked by personal tragedy, she finds strength in her work and activism. On the eve of a conference, she must decide what legacy she will leave—to women and to the world.
