Maximiliane Ančerl explores the life of her grandfather, renowned conductor Karel Ančerl, who lost nearly his entire family during the Holocaust and rarely spoke about his wartime experiences. Her search gradually uncovers not only forgotten chapters of his life, but also traces of the past that remain present across generations of their family.
