Third Land tells the story of an Iranian family who fled Iran thirteen years ago under pressure from Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and have since been living as refugees in Turkey. Although the UNHCR promised they would be resettled in the United States, they remained trapped in limbo for thirteen years, waiting for a future that never arrived.
