Sardonic Nikola (16) needs to finish her essay to escape her parents for school abroad. Her mother Andrea tries bonding by smoking weed with her, but the only result is a food order. It is delivered by classmate David, whose job sparks a clash with her father Richard, who takes over his delivery shift to prove a point. Andrea invites David, an aspiring rapper, to shoot his music video in the villa. Nikola realizes the further she pushes the shoot, the sooner her mother will have to take back the permission she gave, and escalates it until Andrea shuts it down herself. Richard returns, smugly declaring victory, while humiliated David leaves with a broken phone. Nikola chases him with champagne to apologize, but he sprays her with it. For the first time all day, she has nothing to say.
