Can past love be carried away by water, as in ancient Slavic rituals? What Water Took is a poetic mixed reality water installation adapting traditional Czech and Slovak love folk songs, reimagined as open to all regardless of gender or sexual orientation. Surrounded by flowing voices, participants encounter and dance with their former lovers, moving through a labyrinth of love, loss, and longing – until these emotions dissolve into water, leaving the soul cleansed.
