When a beautiful young girl announces to her older boyfriend that she is leaving him, idyllic Sicily holiday turns into soul searching introspective journey for both of them, unravelling deeper layers of life’s fleeting nature. Written and produced together by real life couple, she is the star of the film he shoots from his POV. Playful meditation on puzzling complexity of human relationships, the film mixes subtle Czech humour with charming Sicilia settings into very honest and personal confession of a girl searching for life partner clashing with writer searching for his midlife catharsis. Fusing avantgarde and intimate the film echoes the ethos of Czech New Wave films of the 60's while finding its own original style.
