Elena (35) is coming off a failed attempt to dismantle a religious cult. She is reassigned to the Lake District, where she is given a mysterious case involving disappearing people. The locals, however, are afraid to testify, and everyone claims that the victims are taken by Lake No. 23. Elena refuses to investigate such a case—until a small girl becomes the next victim.
