Alan spends a lonely summer travelling with his family’s carnival. Trapped among the flashing lights of the rides, he dreams of a life beyond the fairground. During his final days working by the lake, he meets lifeguard Viki, and an unexpected bond begins to grow between them. After failing her university entrance exams, Viki struggles to find her own path. Summer at Zemplínska Šírava gives her the chance to leave the past behind and believe in herself again. When Alan gets the opportunity to enter a boxing tournament, he sees a chance to prove himself and break free from the life that has been holding him back. With Viki by his side, he finds the courage to fight for his future. During the last two days of summer, they discover that stepping into the unknown can be a new beginning.
