Set against the backdrop of the 2024 presidential election, the feature-length documentary Cabaret Texas explores the current divided society in the United States through the lens of two people who are seemingly completely different, but come to similar conclusions as they journey through life. A gay burlesque dancer and a heterosexual religious cowboy meet on screen in this socio-cultural take on the local culture from the perspective of a European and an American.
