Gently directed by Jamaica Kindlová and produced by Tereza Havlová of BATCH film and FAMU won the Lotte Reiniger Award the Graduation Films category. In this film, we observe a seemingly ordinary childhood through the eyes of a little boy. Hand-drawn charcoal animation and intense sound design reveal the fear of home that forces the boy to be constantly on alert and ready to flee. The film conveys the child's bodily experience on screen, drawing inspiration from the real childhood memories of four adults. Gently received funding from the FILMTALENT Zlín Foundation and sales are handled by Cinefila.

Also, co-production short Please (Sweden, France, Czech Republic, Norway, Finland) directed by Anna Mantzaris and produced by Swedish Apparat FILMPRODUKTION AB and co-produced by Radim Procházka of Kuli Film for the Czech side, scooped the Jean-Luc Xiberras Award for a First Film In the First Films category. Alternating between dark and comforting moments, passing through the absurd and the strange, Please explores the meaning of loving and being loved in today's world. The film received minority co-production support from the Czech Audiovisual Fund.
