Near the front line in Ukraine, the adults are busy with war. The kids are busy growing up. A group of teenagers fall in love, break up, make music, film each other on their phones, fight with their parents and argue about whether to leave or stay. Their town is shelled, their school moves online, their friends disappear abroad – and still they want what every teenager wants: to be seen, to belong, to have fun. When one of them, Nika, is killed in a missile strike, the others have to decide how to keep going. The film stays at their eye level and refuses to treat them as victims. Loud, funny and raw, it is a portrait of a generation that won’t wait for the war to end before it starts living.
