Krystof is spending his birthday alone. He tries to connect with a girl named Jana, but fails and instead seeks comfort in the company of friends. A Dream of Summer is a film about loneliness, the longing for closeness, and fleeting moments that remind us we belong, if only in a dream, or just for a little while.
