Daughter and mother of three, Blanka, attempts to reconnect with her dominant father, a playful macho and internationally acclaimed nude photographer published at the turn of the millennium by the prestigious Taschen. In exchange for quality time together, Blanka promises to help revive interest in his work, which emerged as a raw, visceral reaction to the newly found freedom following the fall of communism in 1989. However, with modern curators, she finds the once-celebrated artist isolated in his remote forest studio. During this bittersweet journey of absurd humor and family drama, Blanka suffers a physical collapse until the guidance of an eccentric hypnotist brings her the perspective and strength to outgrow the role of a wounded child and break the cycle of intergenerational trauma.
