The project follows a group of teenagers who, through film workshops, are trying to capture the everyday reality of life in a war-torn country. They are young, resourceful, and creative—and they refuse to be mere passive figures in someone else’s game. Through the camera, they regain control over their own story. The series explores universal themes of adolescence and artistic creation that resonate anywhere in the world, yet here are inevitably shaped by war and its transformations. Everyday “trivialities” take on new meaning—a military tourniquet next to a comb and mascara in a girl’s purse, and sometimes simply the fact that someone disappears forever.
