Like thousands of other young women, San Kyi makes a living working in a garment factory in Yangon and increasingly dreams of escaping her exhausting daily routine and returning to the region her family originally comes from. She hopes to make the journey together with her co-worker and only close companion, Theint Theint Oo. Yet alongside their intimacy, tensions gradually emerge between them: their affection is mutual, but each expects something different from the relationship and from life itself. Amid the economic uncertainty of a country devastated by civil war, San struggles with loneliness, family pressure, and a longing for dignity, intimacy, and change. The film delicately portrays the fragile and painful bond between two women searching for hope and fullfilment.
