I studied electrical engineering at the Brno technical school, cinematography at VOŠFZ in the Zlín studios of Karel Zeman, and editing at FAMU under Honza Daňhel and Drahomíra Vihanová. I assisted in editing on several films, including Four Suns /B. Sláma/, Places /R. Špaček/, Hastrman /O. Havelka/, Out in Force /M. Mareček/. As a creative editor I worked with T. Reichová /Epidemic of Freedom/, V. Turner /Behind the Coal Curtain/, and A. Růžičková /Movements of Jan Calábek, Jungle/Placht/, but most of all I edit moving pictures with Vítek Zapletal /Life Ahead, Dust, Josef Váchal/. I cut my way through all Czech mainstream television channels before realising that television is not my path. I am a certified instructor of the Oxygen Advantage breathing school.
